| Speech | 2:00 | mp3 | October - 2008 |
| This is a piece written for a project I'm working on right now. The scene is essentially a woman giving a rousing speech, trying to whip everyone into a motivated frenzy...but it falls flat, with the exception of one man, who joins her in an epic search scene. | |||
| Desert Sands | :52 | mp3 | October - 2008 |
| This was an experiment in writing a piece that sounded very middle eastern. I was thinking something along the lines of either a trek through the desert, or an Arabian marketplace. | |||
| Arabian Palace | 1:32 | mp3 | October - 2008 |
| This was my second attempt. I was trying to find the right balance of scale and ensemble to make this piece sound authentic. While not perfect, it's certainly functional. | |||
| Pagoda Lullaby | :44 | mp3 | October - 2008 |
| This was an experiment in writing a piece that sounded more Asian in nature. It was written using a pentatonic scale, with light flutes, strings, and a taiko drum. | |||
| Goodnight | :58 | mp3 | October - 2008 |
| This was an experiment in writing for a music box. I new it had to be soothing if it was going to pass as a music box song, so I did it without any accompaniment. I also wrote it in a 3/4 time signature, to give the feel of a waltz, as it seemingly very common in music boxes. To reinforce the music box feel, I also added frequent grace notes, to recreate the genuine article. | |||
| Merlin | 4:26 | mp3 | August - 2008 |
| This was a piece that I had originally written as a theme song for the person playing Merlin in the Connecticut Renaissance Faire in 2004. (Tom) I decided to completely rewrite it though, as I wasn't pleased with it. I kept the bells going throughout, to give a constant urgent feeling of time and the piece goes through Merlin's mysterious conception, to his life, to his falling in love with his apprentice Nimue, and ultimately, to his betrayal and eternal incarceration at her hands. | |||
| Covert Ops | 1:13 | mp3 | July - 2008 |
| This is a short piece that I wrote to give a bit of a covert ops feel. The beginning gives the feel of sneaking around, due to the prominent bass and pizzicato strings. The end shows more of the intense side of a covert ops mission, maybe running into conflict, or rushing to escape. | |||
| A Lifetime of Memories | 1:00 | mp3 | July - 2008 |
| This was a piece I wrote for my parent's Anniversary/Retirement party. It had to be short to synch up with the accompanying Powerpoint presentation. I hope to elongate it soon. | |||
| River Musings | 1:22 | mp3 | July - 2008 |
| This was actually a first draft of the piece for my parent's party. I opted against it, because the ending didn't fit the feeling I was looking for, but I liked it to much to change it. So I kept this, and just wrote a new piece for their party. | |||
| Lament | 2:25 | mp3 | July - 2008 |
| This was an experiment in writing for piano. I've always had problems getting emotion across in solo piano pieces, so this was my attempt to write an emotional piano piece. | |||

| Daily Business | 1:04 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This is the Main Theme I wrote for Fishwrap. I wanted something that gave the feeling of action and movement, but had a "happy-go-lucky" feel to it. | |||
| Lovers Meet | 1:18 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This is a remix of the Main Theme for when the main character and his love interest meet. I opted for a string quartet for a soft, gentle feel to capture the moment | |||
| Secret Rendezvous | 1:10 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This was originally written as bathroom music, until Jim and I decided that it sounded a bit to secret agenty for a bathroom. | |||
| High on His Chair | :46 | mp3 | June- 2007 |
| This piece was written with the intructions, "Make it sound Italian...like a Greek Wedding." Hopefully I captured a bit of that. | |||
| Awkward Moments | 1:08 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This was a piece which was written to sound like elevator music, lobby music, bathroom music, or any other awkward situational music. | |||
| Going Up | :52 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This was another piece written for awkward situations. This is a bit more lively. | |||
| Urinal Love | :55 | mp3 | June - 2007 |
| This was originally written as music which could be used in a bathroom, to make two men feel awkward peeing next to each other. I thought a romantic guitar piece would fit, but it didn't come out like I intended, so Jim and I decided not to use it. I decided to post it anyway, as it's not an awful piece. | |||

| Bumbling Along | 1:10 | mp3 | October - 2007 |
| This piece was written as a Theme Song for Zorbak, who tries valiantly to be evil at all time, but usually just ends up being cute and harmless | |||
| Battle On | 2:04 | mp3 | October - 2007 |
| This was written as potential battle music for Adventure Quest. The middle section could loop as needed, and when the battle finished, it could move on to the ending section. | |||
| Frostvale | 1:59 | mp3 | November - 2007 |
| This piece was written as the Theme for Frostvale, which is a town stuck in winter all the time. I used bells to give the feeling of perpetually falling snow, and tried to use all light instruments such as strings and flutes. | |||
| War Brings Peace | 1:51 | mp3 | November - 2007 |
| This was a piece I had written to correspond with the Dragon King quest. It has through several sections corresponding to events which happen during the quest. The first section is receiving the news of the Dragon King, the second section is the battle with the Dragon king, and the third section is the peace and revelry which follow the defeat of the Dragon King. | |||
| Rift in the Sky | 1:08 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| This piece was written to accompany the scene when you receive the news that the Devourer's forces are attacking the Rift in the Sky. You race to defend them, but when you arrive, they've destroyed everything. | |||
| Readying the Troops | 1:26 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| This was music I wrote to accompany any speech given when on the precipice of a great battle. The feel is one of general hopelessness, but determination. | |||

| Overture | 3:09 | mp3 | November - 2007 |
| This was a piece I wrote about my good friend Jon Green. There's a story that accompanies it, but the feel of the music captures it well enough that you can probably at least emotionally relate to the scene without knowing exactly what actions are being represented through the music. | |||
| Dinner: Movement 1 | 1:29 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| Tack: Movement 2 | 1:30 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| Guilt: Movement 3 | 1:41 | mp3 | December - 2007 |

| Magical Waltz | 1:59 | mp3 | November - 2007 |
| This was my first real experiment writing in Rondo form. I decided to call it the Magical Waltz, because it's structured in an A-B-A-C-A-D-A'-B-A" format | |||
| Palindromitus | 1:00 | mp3 | May - 2008 |
| This was an experiment in writing a piano piece, that was in itself, a palindrome. | |||
| Palindromitus(Backwards) | 1:00 | mp3 | May - 2008 |
| This is the same song, but I put it through the Goldwave Sound Editor, so I could hear what it would sound like backwards, to see if it truly was a palindrome. I was rather happy with the results. | |||
| Here Comes Santa Clause | 1:04 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| This piece was an experiment in taking a melody to a well known song, and hiding it in a short piece, in a different key and behind instrumentation. This experiment was actually a bit of a dud...but I have others in the same vein that I plan on uploading soon, and as a piece, it wasn't half bad, so I decided to post it anyway. | |||

| Reanimation Waltz | 1:41 | mp3 | February - 2005 |
| This was a piece I wrote after deciding that I hadn't heard enough Waltzes written in a minor key, outside of the stereotpyical haunted merry-go-round. | |||
| Portraits of Personality | 3:18 | wav | September - 2005 |
| This is actually a combination of three Themes I wrote for characters at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. In order, they are Bishop Roderick, the cheerful, bobble headed bishop, Morgan le Fey, the conniving sister to King Arthur, and Oison, the Fey of Stags. | |||
| A Love Everlasting | 2:12 | wav (pardon the skip at the end) | November - 2005 |
| This was a song written on my old computer, which is why the recording is a bit questionable. | |||
| Three Steps to the Grave | :46 | mp3 | December - 2005 |
| This was the opening segement of my final project for Music Theory III | |||
| Sarah's Song | 2:37 | mp3 | December - 2007 |
| This was a piece written for Sarah. | |||
| Winds of Change | 3:26 | mp3 | March - 2008 |
| This was the piece where I first experimented using the ensemble that John Williams used in many of his pieces from Star Wars | |||
| Parade of the Victors | 2:05 | mp3 | April - 2008 |
| This piece once again uses the John Williams ensemble, but in a vastly different way than in Winds of Change. I wanted to make sure that I could do lighter pieces with the same ensemble. This piece will sound familiar to you...it sounds familiar to everyone. No one's been able to tell me exactly what it sounds like though. If you know, or have any ideas, e-mail me. | |||
| Stairway to Hell | 2:37 | mp3 | April - 2008 |
| This piece was the first of a two part arrangement I wrote as an audition tape for the digital short "The Best Man" Since it was originally written to synch up to the film, there were several sections of silence which had to be taken out for it to be posted on here. As such, there are a few points which may seem like very harsh and sudden transitions. I apologize...but not enough to write transitions as of yet. | |||
| Freed from Purgatory | 3:11 | mp3 | April - 2008 |
| This piece was the second of the aforementioned two part arrangement. | |||
| Not The "F" Word | 3:12 | mp3 | June - 2008 |
| I wrote this piece to accompany a song written by my friend Kaylee Belli, in honor of our friend Bonnie's birthday. The flutes and, at times, the oboe, mirror what the vocalist is singing. | |||
